Cody Achtermeier5 StarMy F250 has had an ongoing issue with shutting off since I bought it, which turned into a crank no start. Chicagoland Diesel Services went above and beyond with my truck. I'm always skeptical about where I take my vehicles, but Steve and the crew put my mind at ease. The turn around time and quality of work is unmatched. This place doesn't mess around when it comes to diagnostics and repairs. Steve is the man. My truck has never ran better. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need repairs done going forward.Monday 9th September 2024

Sotiro Panopoulos1 StarBrought a beautiful 7.3 with an oil leak to Steve. He said he’s done thousands of these and it was a line by the turbo $950 later and I was told, you know you have a rear main leak , What??? First mistake. Brought it in months later, Second mistake I was quoted over the phone $2500. I thought it was exorbitant, but its my son‘s truck so I helped him out, I said do it. Two days and over the weekend I call and Steve says 2940, What??? Stated he had to remove the main seal cover. Duh. That what you have to do to get the seal out. He stated he uses screws and pulls out the seal. Remove the bolts that holds the cover that retains the seal. You removed the bolts, pop the seal out, pop in the new seal, put the ring over the crank and slide it back on. I’ve had two 7.3s one 1995 and one 1999 which I replaced both rear main seals. This was a four-wheel-drive truck. I was being lazy and boy, did I pay the price. I received the truck back with 10 more miles on it and a greasy floor mat Really? Even if it leaks again, I would not bring it back to this guy. Said he power washed it three times baloney. I’ve been in business since 1983 and my Dad, rest his soul, since 1969 and we have never had one complaint. This is the first I’ve ever left a review and I don’t feel good about it, but I sure don’t like what happened to me eitherThursday 16th May 2024
